Each coin is gold-foil wrapped and is about the size of a half-dollar piece with the words “FORT KNOX” on one side and “E Pluribus Unum” , “1878”, and the Liberty Head on the other. The 144 individual coins weigh 1 lb. 9.75 oz. and are packed in a cute little clear plastic pail with a handle.
